For now we are bumper free and let's see if we are going to need him in the future... if not I can add it to my short list of "yeah, I didn't need that" baby list :)

To Bump(er) or not to Bump(er)
Oliver loved his bassinet and spend a wonderful 7 months in it. I also loved it, because it meant I didn't have to leave the comfort of my bed to feed him at night (lazy me!!!). It took him a week to get used to sleeping in this HUGE bed and something was missing.... I caved and bought a bumper, why? Because I figured my child NEEDS it. He NEEDS the coziness. Well he did... for about a month and now he uses the bumper to pull on and play with... ummm yeah NOT safe.... a few times he pulled himself close to it - too close for my opinion...

This is truly funny! There is so much crap they sell you that you *NEED* for your baby... We never used bumpers, pacifiers, wipe warmer. Polina's favorite toy for awhile was an empty mustard squeeze bottle, and Aleksey used to play with kitchen utensils.
